Anishk206 Posted November 1, 2017 Report Posted November 1, 2017 I am working with employer with H1B & I94 stamped till Oct 2018. I was working in one state till Dec 2016 after which I relocated to another state with same employer for a different project. H1B amendment was filed for location change which got denied in OCT 2017. 1. Am I legally allowed to work for my current employer ? 2. I am yet to get denial notice from USCIS , till the time I get the notice is my status valid? 3. What are my options? Any help in this matter will be really appreciated.
Rahulsudini Posted November 1, 2017 Report Posted November 1, 2017 Can you please tell what denial notice did you get ?
Anishk206 Posted November 2, 2017 Author Report Posted November 2, 2017 I am yet to receive denial notice.
gg786 Posted November 16, 2017 Report Posted November 16, 2017 Would you mind to share what kind of RFE was issued? I moved to new client within state and have received RFE this week for amendment.

What are the option in case of denial? There are 3 options as far as I know 1. Reopen the case 2. Re-apply amendment for the same location 3. Apply for new amendment for a new location Note - all these options must be evaluated by lawyer & immigration team of your employer. Sadly I had to return to India as my immigration recommended to move back to my base location after which I can look out for new project and start the process again.
