H1b Extension approved - Need to Travel from different project from India

Hi All,

I am currently working in India and had applied H1b Extension before i left US 4 months before. Now the extension is approved. 

I have the following question if i need to travel from different project.

1.We need to apply for amendment if we need to travel from different project and client and location. How long will it is take for amendment process to approve in regular processing?

2.I do not have stamping right done based on the current H1B extension. Can i go  for drop box option with exisiting H1B extension petition  after the amendment process is started from different project ? or should i wait for the amendment to get approved ? 

3. If the stamping is already and amendment has started, Can i travel from India with the amendment filed receipt ?
