Vivek Kumar Posted October 30, 2017 Report Posted October 30, 2017 I am currently on H1-B visa with company A. I have got a job in company B and the start date is 8th January. The new company will file the H1-B visa on 4th Nov through premium processing and I should have the confirmation by 6th. I would travel to India on 10th Nov. So my question is, Is there going to be any problem if I enter the US with the following documents? 1. Valid Passport 2. Valid H1-B visa with company A stamp valid till 2019 3. Company B approved I-797A. (Assuming I797 gets approved and I would get that in India through mail) I understand the risk of the chance of not getting approved ( both companies well respected and big firm). I went through several blogs/USCIS page etc. that suggest me there should not be any problem with the above papers. Travel is unavoidable. If there is an RFE, I/attorney would have ample time to do that paperwork. Thanks, Vivek
