pontevecchio Posted October 30, 2017 Report Posted October 30, 2017 New rules are the difference. You need to have worked for the initial employer before changing employers. It has been suggested including in this forum by Murthy sources that getting a H1 visa stamped for this petition will also enable you to change employers without having worked for the initial sponsor and I strongly suspect that to be true.
