stampwithgrace Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 In mumbai if you are asked to attend a interview after a drovbox submission do you need to take a appointment or you can do a walk-in ? Asking as I am going to India just for a week and I am eligible for a Dropbox.

nmurthy Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 Early this year, my wife got her passport back within a week from dropbox. One week is not enough if you have to go in after a 221G. You should be able to walkin in that case. Talk to the VFS support desk and they should be able to answer your question.

After drop box is done you will get your passport within one week or so, either with stamped visa or they may ask you to come in person. If visa is stamped its good still hard for you to manage just in one week. For second scenario you don't need to book any appointment, they will provide you a certain time window and ask you to come during any working day. For any of the situation your one week is not enough so either extend to a period or avoid stamping!!!
