Sandeep Gupta Posted October 26, 2017 Report Posted October 26, 2017 Hello All, I am on H1B, I-140 approved. Recently stated to work with a engineering consulting company (non IT) established in 2001. They have good strength, around 500 ppl. I am a full time on their payroll but sits and work at client site. This would be my first stamping with my current employer but have done stamping with other employers several times (3 or 4 times). This is my first time that I have a consulting company and client situation. I am worried about if sitting at client site can be an issue? Is there anyone who has recently done stamping at Delhi consulate? How is the experience? I am hearing that it is issuing more rejection the approval?
Rameshwar Rao Posted October 26, 2017 Report Posted October 26, 2017 Hi Sandeep, I'm also asking the same question to the group here, I'm planning to go to New Delhi in last week of November. Could you tell me if you have made the appointment and how soon did you have to book? Regards, RR
shubham007 Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 I went to interview this week. I work directly at client. First question they asked was if I work at client directly or throw contracting. So I guess they are more concerned about this contracting thing. Good luck guys girls
gopalakrishnach Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 EVC is normal. They may ask questions. If you answer correctly and confidently and have all documents nothing will happen. EVVC is more complex....
Rameshwar Rao Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 Shubham, Could you suggest what other questions they asked? And how many days before did you book the appointment from the actual date? Regards, Prateek
Rameshwar Rao Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 Gopal, What is EVC or EVVC? Regards, Prateek
