Job change but stamping with current employer

Hello - 

I am in the process of switching jobs. I am currently outside US for work and need to enter back with a visa stamp. 

Of Course I will need to go for a dropbox as I am eligible. 

My new employer has given me the option of doing applying for H1b while I am outside. 

My question was. I will not be joining the new employer till I go back to the USA after a month or so. 

My visa stamping will be with my current employer. 

Will it be a risk to apply for a H1b petition by the new employer in the US but in India apply for visa with current employer ?

Of Course I will not be joining the new employer anytime soon.

I don't see any problem in this.....you can have visa stamp with your current employer.

Visas are not employer dependent.

As long as you enter the US with the visa to continue employment with the current employer you are fine.

Planning to change jobs doesn't affect that.
