H1bfirsttimer Posted October 23, 2017 Report Posted October 23, 2017 HI All, So I got approved for h1b this year and its my first time as I was on F1 during the last year. Can someone briefly summarize the steps involved in getting stamped in Canada? I am aware that I need a visit visa for canada- but what about the other steps? do i fill out DS 160 and apply as if I am applying from India? What would I say if a question arises- as to why am I getting my visa stamped in canada instead of my home country-India?
