Hi

i need a small help i am working on H1B and my extension end date is 31 DEC 2017.

My employer applied an extension and i got the receipt number too.

Now i got an offer with another employer but they process very slow and all the H1B filing takes minimum 3 months so probably on Jan they are would like to file my H1B transfer .

so can i use my present receipt number and can i change the company or do i need to wait till i got my Extension approve.

Note: My present employer not doing the premium process and they are filing in normal mode only.

If the new sponsor files after your current I94 expires, you will first need the current extension approved before the new H1 petition will be approved with an I94. Nothing precludes you from leaving and returning with the H1 visa at that time. I think PP is back.
