sanguine_pm
Hi, I have recently been approved L1 visa . However I expect my nationality to change from the current Country A to country B in the next 6 months . I will have to surrender by passport from Country A as it does not allow dual citizenship. My question is - does my company need to file for a new L1 again given that my nationality has changed or is it just a simple process of getting my new passport of Country B endorsed with a visa label? How difficult is this process? Many Thanks, PM Link to comment
pontevecchio
Even India returns the passport with a notation 1. cancelled due to taking up foreign citizenship . You should consider getting a visa stamp in your current passport. Link to comment
sanguine_pm
Hi, Thanks for your reply. I do hold an Indian passport. So, if I have to surrender my Indian passport, does that mean my firm has to file for a new petition and go through the whole process again to secure a new visa to be stamped on my new passport. Thanks, PM Link to comment
