Cap Exempt(Non profit) H1b, i140 approved transfer to cap subject H1b?

Hi,

I am in the US for 7 years now on a cap exempt(non-profit) h1b and I have an approved i140. Can another employer file cap subject H1b lottery for me? If yes how many years will I get on the new H1b visa? since I have already been on H1b in the USA for 7 years now.

An employer can of course file an H1 next April in the quota for you.

The I-140 allows you to extend the H1, regardless of it is cap-exempt or not.
