H4 EAD Renewal when H1B extension is in process

Hi All,

I have applied my H1B extension and H4 extension on Aug and it start with LIN* and it is still in progress. At that time I have not applied for H4 EAD extension. H4 EAD for my wife ends on Dec 30th. 

Question:

1. Can I apply for H4 EAD renewal with H1B extension receipt notice since it is not approved.

2. if we can apply what location do i need to send my H4 EAD. H1B receipt notice start with LIN*.

3. what documents required if H1B extension is not approved.
