pontevecchio
You will have 60 days to look for a new H1 sponsor. Link to comment
JoeF
If your employer lays you off, the employer has to pay for your flight to your home country, if you wish to go. If you want to stay, you have a 60 day grace period to find a new H1 job. You also can file a change of status to F2, based on your spouse's F1. Link to comment
