My Status : My OPT Stem Extension has expired in June and since my H1B is picked up in lottery(masters quota) I was in Cap Gap until Sept 30th,2017. Starting October 1st, 2017 I can stay legally but Cannot work and with the dilemma of whether my H1B will be approved or denied, I am planning to join masters in a different university and hence transfer my SEVIS . Question : Can my SEVIS be transferred to a different university when my Masters quota H1B is pending with USCIS ? Does it affect my under processing masters quota H1B petition ?
