Sunitha Gana Posted October 4, 2017 Report Posted October 4, 2017 Hi Friends, I work for a US startup company in California and as of now, I am on H1b visa and they are also starting my GC process in EB2 category as a developer by end of this month. My company is planning to open a new office in France and they are willing to transfer me over there as a manager. 1) Suppose, If I spend one year in France, will I be able to start green card using EB1C? 2)Can I start the EB2 process now and it may take 1 year to get I-140 approval as a developer? 3)Does it have any impact if my EB2 (developer) is approved and starting my EB1C as manager, as both job title and descriptions are different? 4)Can I move forward in EB2 process while I am outside the USA? Thanks, Sunitha
pontevecchio Posted October 5, 2017 Report Posted October 5, 2017 Have them file in EB2. Accept the job in France . Return in H1 status after the French experience. \ In the meantime discuss EB1C possibilities with the company and THEN a lawyer of your choice.
