h1applicant Posted October 3, 2017 Report Posted October 3, 2017 Hello there, I have I-140 approved and My H1B extension applied in Nov 2016, H1B expired in Apr 2017. There is no updates from USCIS. The status still shows the Application received and receipt notice sent. Application elapse days 320 Days I-94/H1B expired elapse days 180 days. Please advise whether USCIS consider my application for expedited processing if the premium is not enabled. I noticed some of my colleagues who applied in Apr 2017 got their approvals already. Appreciate any help for next steps.
Rakee Posted October 5, 2017 Report Posted October 5, 2017 Hi. Good luck with you. Did you get the receipt notice copy? How did you proceed with your case?
NotAnAttorney Posted October 11, 2017 Report Posted October 11, 2017 You may utilize the premium processing, as it is available since Oct 3rd.
h1applicant Posted November 16, 2017 Author Report Posted November 16, 2017 No Updates Yet with more than 365 days now. Upgraded to Premium on 11th OCT still now response. My 240 days reaches early next month. Not sure how long will it take for processing in Nebraska center. Anyone faced similar issue of going beyond 240 days? My attorney said, I can stay in US but can't work. All the efforts to reach USCIS is in vain. No responses from them even after premium processing upgrade.
h1applicant Posted November 20, 2017 Author Report Posted November 20, 2017 Anyone faced such scenario before. Any suggestions to what to do next will be appreciated. Thanks!
