JoeF Posted October 2, 2017 Report Posted October 2, 2017 An H1 can only be filed up to 6 months before the start date. With the US fiscal year starting on Oct. 1, H1s that are filed in the quota on April 1 can start on Oct. 1 only. Cap-exempt H1s can start on other days.
