Samrat Ragav Posted September 29, 2017 Report Posted September 29, 2017 Hello All, Hope all of you are doing fine! I have a situation to explain here and hear back from people who might have gone through similar experiences or feed back to share. 1st year, I had a B1 (B1/B2) visa and was in US for a month and left back to home country The very next year, I got my F1 in mid of year and also was lucky to have my H1B approved that was applied when i was in India. The same year Discontinued my F1 after 6mnths as my employer applied for COS from F1 to H1b. Had to change to a new employer within a short span of 2mnths in the same year. My new employer got me a client with a very good opportunity with good pay. I am still with the same client for last 3years.However, as a full-time employee with this reputed organization , good designation and important role to play & off course good pay. I am now planing for H1B stamping with all necessary documents without any documentation gaps. However, i wanted to hear from you all if anyone here heard or have a similar visa sequence with F1 discontinued and COS to H1B and then H1B stamping. What questions can be expected on F1 to H1B without completing masters. For me honestly it was an opportunity to grab and consider continuing my education at later point as i work and live in this country. Thanks for taking time out to read and genuine clean responses appreciated!

gopalakrishnach Posted September 29, 2017 Report Posted September 29, 2017 Personally I feel continuing studies after sometime might not be a good selling point. You need to tell truth ( if that is one ) and hope for best....
