Changing an employer on H1B

Hi,

  I have recently resigned from my company on August 31st and joined another company on september 7th. My H1B transfer application was acknowledged on Aug 31st by USCIS. If my previous employer withdraws my H1B on Aug31st, would I go out of status when I joined the new company on Sep7th.
