My EB3 I-485 Priority Date is April 22^nd, 2006. I have received RFE in Aug 2017 and sent the reply on Sept 9^th 2017. On Sept 12^th I see the status of mine and my wife’s as “updated your name for your Form I-485” on USCIS.

On Sept 19^th morning USCIS sent a message for my case as “The Post Office returned a notice we sent you for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, because they could not deliver it.” On the same day in the afternoon they sent another message as “Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On September 19, 2017, we mailed your document for Receipt Number SRCXXXXXXXXXX, directly to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your document by October 19, 2017, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request the document be sent to you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.”

There is no update after that on my case. Also on my wife’s case I do not see any update after “updated your name for your Form I-485”.

Do I need to follow up from USCIS or just wait? Please advise.

Would you please share whether you got the green card after 2 week of the notice? I am also in a very similar situation: got a message about post office returned a notice and same day got an e mail saying that my status is card/document production, but got the same RFE one more time a day later.
