smanish1 Posted September 15, 2017 Report Posted September 15, 2017 Hello, I am on L1B visa as of today and my H1B got selected in lottery. Waiting on status on H1B application. Between my L1B is set to expire end of September. My employer has filed the change of status based on the H1B lottery. My employer says, since I have filed my change of status I am alright to stay beyond my I-94 date but I will not be able to work. I need to understand if that is correct. Please advice.
