I'm on F1 and got approved H1 (in lottery) and the current employer submitted for F1 to H1 COS. I'm looking for quick options to save my status. A. Can I ask my current employer's attorney to stop the COS. If so, how many days will it practically take to do this. Can this be done before 1st Oct. B. Incase if option A doesn't work and I don't have job on 1st Oct, will I still have options to transfer my H1 to different employer ? c. My wife is working and she is in F1 status and has 2yrs of validity. I'm looking for your valuable suggestions to help me quick to make some decision and what could be my best path to go.
