AOS through DACA

Hi my wife filed I-130 for myself back in march 2017 when she was green card  holder. She got her citizenship in june and in july we submitted her citizenship certificate to uscis to speed up the process (E2 -immediate relative).I have DACA with I-94.

My lawyer told me that I have to wait until my I-130 gets approved and then I can file for my I-485 (green card application).My friend who is having same situation,his lawyer just filed for I-485 eventhough his I-130 is not approved.

So I am confused should I file for my I-485(green card application) while my I-130 is in process and not approved yet or just wait to get approved and then apply?

Please help me.I would really appreaciate any help.
