2 H1 transfer be possible?

Hello Gurus,

I have been working in the USA for 9.6 (3.5 yrs in L1 and 6 yrs in H1) and I have an approved and valid I-140. Now I lost my fulltime position and file for an H1 transfer within 60 days grace period though a consultancy firm and this H1 transfer is in-progress status. My question is - if I get a new fulltime job, can I file for a H1 transfer to new employer for fulltime job? Am I eligible for transfer? Please reply with some details about pros and cons.
