chikkih1
Hi, As per 221g they want I-797 for time period Nov 2016 to Feb 2017. My previous petition expired in Nov 2016 and the extension was filed in July 2016 which was not approved until Feb 2017.The approved petition has date from Feb 2017 to Dec 2017. So, I do not have I-797 for that time period from Nov 2016 to Feb 2017. I never noticed this gap until I dropped my documents and received 221g.Please advise what evidence we need to provide to embassy (like the proof that the extension was filed) or do we need to get the I-797 corrected? Also advice how much time does 221g processing takes. Appreciate your help! Thank you! Link to comment

You need to talk to your employer's attorney also before you submit the docs. Link to comment
