Do i need to go for visa stamping

Iam traveling to India Around Mid Dec and returning around Mid Jan - 2018

My current visa stamp in my passport seems expiring on 22 Jan 18 
If i return to USA say for example on 15 JAN 18 , Do i need to go for visa stamping ? I am checking since this date is close to visa expiration date

Also how many days before expiry date of 22- Jan - 18 i can return with current visa stamp without going for visa stamping again

Also can i utilize visa dropbox program if i have to go for stamping again

You can enter US at least 1 day before your visa expires. You will be issued a new I94 valid till Jan 2019.

Consider renewing your visa while in India. I am not sure of you are eligible for drop-box because it depends on couple of parameters. Please check this link http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in/in-niv-visarenew.asp

You don't need a visa stamping. You can use existing stamp.

it is advised to go for a Visa stamping.

You can enter up to the last date of visa expiry with no problems. Make sure you calculate right. You are of course allowed to get a new visa IF you choose.
