tobiasphoonk Posted August 21, 2017 Report Posted August 21, 2017 I decided to apply for OPT STEM extension since neither I nor my attorney has received an approval notice for H-1B Change of Status. My university DSO however told me that I don't need to apply for the OPT extension since the change of status has been approved according to the SEVIS database. Does this imply that my H-1B has been approved?
