Looking for help regarding my h1b extension beyond 6years.  Here's my case, I came to the USA in 2007 for company A,  Got I-140 approved with Comp-A with PD - "May 2011".   Joined the Comp-B full-time in Dec-2012 and got the I-140 approved with Comp-B, porting the same PD as "May 2011".  Got laid-off in July 2016 by Comp-B.  Joined Comp-C in Aug 2016 and currently working with them.  Comp-C has not started my GC yet and my h1b expires in Aug-2019.  I'm not very sure whether Comp-C going to start my GC anytime sooner. So, here's my question, Can USCIS approve my h1b extension for another 3 years based on my previous I-140 by old companies? Assuming Comp-A/Comp-B don't revoke my I-140?   Thanks and looking forward to hearing from experts!! TIA !!

With new law in place from January 2017, any approved I140 can be used for H1 extension beyond 6 years by any employer, even if it was revoked, after 180 days from the approval date. In your case your I140 was approved in 2011 & 2012 and I think you should be good to extend your H1 based on those I 140
