Converted from F1 to H1B from USA 7 years ago. This is my first time H1B stamping so looking for expert advice on how much chance I have to get my visa stamped without any issues. Here is my profile: Total Stay in USA till Now: 10 years 2008 - Arrived in USA on F1 Visa 2008-2009 (Master Degree (IT) - Very Reputed University) 2010-2011(OPT - IT Job) 2011-Present (H1B - IT Job) (3rd H1B extension with Same employer (Very Reputed company. Never changed Employer) Approved I-140 Always worked on EVC model. No gap of employment ever No Gap in Pay checks ever. Always got Salary higher than Wage mentioned in LCA (Due to Bonus) I am planning to go to Vancouver Canada consulate. How many chance I have to get my Visa stamped? gopalakrishnach Posted August 8, 2017 Report Share Posted August 8, 2017 There is no scale of measuring the chances of getting visa stamped. It depends on your profile and confidence. Carry all documents. The only thing now they are seeing more is LCA and W2. They will ask for your job title and salary. Link to comment

asikka Posted August 9, 2017 Report Share Posted August 9, 2017 I went for my first H-1B stamping 5 yrs after doing change of status from F1, Only usual questions were asked about company, job profile etc so no need to worry just be confident , Although just to be safe do prepare for an answer if VO ask you why you didnt travel for 7 yrs Link to comment

Could you please suggest a very genuine answer to the question if VO asked - why I didn't travel for 7 yrs.. Frankly speaking I didn't travel due to fear of not getting H1B stamped. Link to comment
