Made mistake in COS F1 OPT to H4

My wife is on F1 OPT, her OPT expires in Sep 17th 2017. We applied for COS to H4 on July 11th( I-539 receipt date ). My H1B is valid until Oct 2018. Now I have realized that we made a mistake when filling the I-539

Part 3, 1a I/We request that my/our current or requested status be extended until mm/dd/yy: <left blank here>.

Part3, 2a Is this application based on an extension or change of status already granted to your spouse, child or parent? : <selected NO> - should have be YES

Part3, 2b If Yes, provide USCIS Receipt Number : <left blank>

Will this application be rejected or send for RFE?

What are my options ?

1. Should I call the USCIS, cancel the application and reapply new application.
2. Is this a change I can call USCIS and get done.
3. Wait for the result of the application and then respond. This will likely cause her to go out of status.
