EAD Eligible While H1b Transfer

I was in Company A and got I140 Approved, few months ago my wife got EAD (till Feb 01 2020)  and also SSN . (she never worked)   3 Weeks Ago, I changed my Employer from A to B and my Visa Transfer is in Progress.    Now, my wife is looking for job, she is eligible to work ?   or she needs to wait until my new employer visa approval?   Could you please guide.
