abayaa Posted July 27, 2017 Report Posted July 27, 2017 Hello, I applied for J 1 waiver in October 2015. In April 2016 RFE was requested which we sent and was received in June. In December, USCIS sent to DOS for opinion. DOS website states that request for sponsor opinion was sent in February 2017. It still shows pending. How long to receive sponsor views. Is it OK to contact DOS?
