Successfully stamped in Tijuana mexico on July 25 H1B

Hi,

want to share , today got stamped successfully on H1B.

 

ASC (finger prints and photo) July 24 th , and July 25th consular appointment (Visa interview)  at 10:45 am.

 

It was hardly 2 mins interview.

Me: GM

VO: GM, took my passport and I797.

VO: Are you currently working with same company as last time?

me:No, I have changed my company , now i work for XXXXX

VO: What do you work on?

Me: i'm XXXXXX 

VO: Since how long you working for this company?

Me: from 2 years

VO: Your visa is approved.

Me: thank you

it was cool interview and i saw 5 people on h1b and they have got their visa approved

Note: book hotel in hyatt which is close to finger prints (just short walk from hotel) and don't carry your phones to either place ASC or Consulate, keep them in hotel as there are no lockers. visa consulate is 10-15 mins from hotel, you can go in uber.

congratulations smagg. can you please tell me how to book visa appointment in mexico. is there a specific URL for it? Do i need to submit DS 160 to get the URL?

you can create account here , betwn you need to fill DS 160 form, just strt and fill ds160 like 2-3 pages and save passwords and ID

..giving tht id you can book visa slot...later u can complete ds 160 and you can submit bfre 1 week of ur interview
