H1B Sponsorship

Hello,

Right now I am employed as a full time developer for company A. The company does not want to do H1 sponsorship. There is a staffing company B that is ready for doing sponsorship. Could I ask my company A if I can work for them through company B. Company B has visa rank 8000. They said they are happy to collaborate with company A.

Thanks

Swetha,

The staffing company B might be happy to collaborate with Company A because they can make money by providing staffing,., but your full time employer, company A, should agree to that.  Because, they have to pay more to the consultants coming from staffing companies. Do they work with staffing companies, do they recruit consultants?

A staffing company can't sponsor an H1. Such companies don't have an employer-employee relationship.

Consulting companies can sponsor an H1, but they are not staffing companies. There is a very important legal difference there. The consulting company has to control your work. That is an important part of being an employee for a company.
