I have to get my H1 visa stamped during this trip to India. My fiance is on F1 visa in the US. I would like some help with filing my DS160. 1) Is it alright for me to get h1 visa stamped before the wedding with my marital status as single? 2) What relationship should I state on DS 160 for my fiance under the travel companions section?

If you plan to update relationship other than single then be prepared to furnish documents/photos or some kind of proof that you are engaged etc as they might ask questions and proof related to that.
