dsksr Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 Me(H1) and my wife(H4) got visa stamped last week in India. My current H1b petition is valid till sep 2018. But i got my H1b Visa stamp for 5 years (till 2022) with no Annotation. my wife H4 stamp is till sep 2018 as per our h1b petition. All other details in the visa stamp are correct. is this by mistake? if Yes, how to contact Consulate to check? i am travelling back to US in next couple of weeks. Do i need to report this at POE?

rajatbhatia Posted July 17, 2017 Report Posted July 17, 2017 When I got my first visa , my visa (H1B) was issued for 3 years, while my wife's H4 visa was issued for 5 years. We have travelled multiple times and so far have not faced any difficulty in entering/re-entering USA
