Gurus,

I am working with a company ABC for past 5 years. I used to work for a client (Client X) on the client site until September 2016. I am not off that contract yet, I still need to go there sometimes may be twice a month. I have a client letter secured from client X last year which has a date saying I will be needed on that project until the end of my H1B date. There are no layers EVC kind involved. It is directly E->C type relation.
Now, I am working about 90% of my time for a different client (Client Y) on the client site since September 2016. The distance between the locations of client X and client Y is not even a block... may be there is one building between Client X building and Client Y building, hence in the same MSA.
My questions is: My H1B (LCA to be precise) lists location of my employer as well as the location of client X. IF I go for stamping, do I need to amend the H1B or is there a way that consulate would know that I am working for client Y, if I plan to interview for client X? I work for company ABC and not for the client, so does it matter even if the client is different but at the almost same location?

You need to check with your employer's attorney.

I'm not Guru but will give you an advice

As per law if  new client is within 25 miles of radius you dont need to amend

If they ask you for Client on interview you can say Client B, previously working with Client A

All you need is client letter and MSA from Client B, and tell them its 2 blocks away so amendment not required.

Worst case 1-2 weeks processing. If you are in good terms with Client B get it done
