As a divorced H4 can change her status from H4to F1?

Hello , 

My name is hetal Patel. before one year ago I came here on H4 visa . But after one month everything is going worst between me and my husband. And he forced me to giving divorce. Because of him pressure I had give him divorce. Before 3month I signed my divorce pepar. I want to stay in USA and continue my further study. But my husband strictly say NO to provide his any documents to me . Without his documents how can I change my Status. I am suffering bad from this situation. Would you please helping me out from this ???? I just want change my status from H4 to F1.

Approach nearest college and get I 20 asap. Meanwhile, request your husband to maintain H4 status until you get your F1 approved. I hope your parents are still there to help you financially.
