Applied for H1B this year (COS from H4 EAD) and getting laid off

Hello,

I am working for Comapny A on H4 EAD and they have applied for H1B. My application got picked in the lottery process and I am currently waiting for H1B approval.

I have been told, that the entire team  would be let go by end of August.

Mean while I have got an offer from an another Company  and they are willing to hire me based on my H4 EAD status.

I want to know where I stand with my immigration status , if my current employer (Company A) doesn't revoke my H1B application and it gets approved.

I have H4 EAD stamped and valid till April 2018, Since its change of status case should I have to leave USA by October 1st?

IF so by reentering US with new I-94 would suffice or I have to apply for Change of status to H4 again?
