H1b visa in canada or mexico..

Hi ,

I am planning to get my H1b visa stamped in eithe rcanada or mexico. can some one help me with the process to follow. like, how to apply canada/mexico visa and then booking appointment etc.

also, how many days it takes to get the processing( finger prints, visa interview and collecting the passport) done in canada and mexico.

Do not worry about Mexican visa as it will take just 2 days to complete the Visa stamping.

If you want, you can take temporary 1 week permit for 25$ at Mexican side once you go there.

As far as I know if you have approved i-797, with previous expired US visa already, you should be good to travel within 20 miles within the border for maximum of 30 days.

If you are just going for visa stamping, you will be traveling less than 5 miles from border.

So don't worry much about Mexican visa, Ernesto can help.
