Raakesh Posted July 5, 2017 Report Posted July 5, 2017 Hi All , I got married in June -2017 and my visa is expiring Aug -2017. My exmployer is filing extension for me . I need to bring my wife in H4 visa , so I am confused here. Please let me know if i can start H4 process for her with the extension receipt or do i need to get petition approved inorder to bring her. Also, if that option is not possible can i bring her in tourist visa and convert to H4 . Please advise.
pontevecchio Posted July 10, 2017 Report Posted July 10, 2017 Why did you not have her get the H4 visa in June and come over? Now you need to wait. Does she have a B2 visa?
