Hi,
My wife was involved in a regretful incident in 2013 where she was held guilty of Class B Misdemeanor for Theft -  she paid all the fines, restitution and performed all the public service jobs described by the govt.

After that we went for stamping twice in 2014 and 2016 - both the times we got the stamping successfully.

We are planning to visit India this year and now that the government has changed we are not sure if we would have a similar experience, this time we will be going for Drop Box.

Appreciate if anyone has had any similar experience...

Thanks.

Hi Was your wife fingerprinted at the station when arrested? Or was she fingerprinted anytime during the process of conviction?

Did the VO ask about the arrest? Did you give the court papers to the consulate?

Was there a delay in getting visa stamped?
