EAD and AP renewal

My EAD and AP combo card expiring in two months. I received my EAD and AP combo card in Feb 2016. I am in the process of  filling applications to renew EAD and AP.

From what I gather both EAD and AP renewals are free for AOS filed after 2007. Please confirm if this is true and how I can verify this with my current EAD and AP combo card.

Can I send both applications in same package to Texas service center or separately?

How long it is taking for EAD and AP renewals these days? My wife EAD is also expiring in two months and she needs it for her work status. I am still continuing on H1B.

EAD renewal is taking more than 4 months in Texas service center. My EAD is pending with TSC for more than 4 months.

EAD and AP renewals are free if you have filed AOS after July 2007.

You can send both applications in same package.
