H1B extension after four years

Hi,

My first petition was approved and valid from 1 Oct 2013 to 30 Sept 2014. I entered USA for the first time on 20 Feb 2014. I applied for extension and got three years of extension, i.e., 1st Oct 2014 to 30 Sept 2017. I am due for extension this year. I have the following queries:

1. What is the maximum time the extension petition can be approved for? 30 Sept 2019 (6 years from date of first petition approval) or 19 Feb 2020 (6 years from the time I entered USA first)?

2. This will be my second extension application. If the petition is approved only till 30 Sept 2018, can I apply for extension again till I finish the term of six years?

1. It will be till 19 Feb 2020.

2. You can apply for extension till you complete your 6 years.
