sudbon2784 Posted January 9, 2017 Report Posted January 9, 2017 Hi all, I am full time researcher with a multi-national company. Due to recent changes in our organization, the company name has been changed effective Jan 1, 2017. Our law group filed amendment and petition is currently in processing stage. I need to travel to Germany for business meeting in February. I already have valid H1b visa until Sept 2017. Can I enter the country with my current visa with new I-797? If needed, I can get a letter from my HR stating that my job and responsibilities have not changed. Appreciate your comments. Thanks.
Newlow Posted January 10, 2017 Report Posted January 10, 2017 Yes, you can. I just did that last week to validate my approval and got a new I94 based on new i797. Just make sure your i94 is based on new i797 end date
