parttime661 Posted January 9, 2017 Report Posted January 9, 2017 Hi Guys, I graduated from NPU in 2015 Summer and completed my intial OPT and got my STEM application approved a couple of months ago. The school I graduated from (Northwestern polytechnic University) has lost its accrediiton recently(Sept 2016), I am applying for H-1B this year Graduated in Aug 2015 - School lost accredition in Sept 2016 1)If my application gets picked up in the lottery, will the loss of my school's accredition effect my H1B? (I graduated an year before the school lost its accredition) 2)I am also planning to do my MBA in the near future after I get my H1B, I have heard many reputed universities offer after work classes for MBA programs, anyone know about this?
JoeF Posted January 10, 2017 Report Posted January 10, 2017 1. It should not. 2. These programs are really expensive, easily over $100K. And you need letters of recommendation. Given that you went to a shady, cheap institution for your Masters, they may not even accept you.
