ravik14 Posted January 6, 2017 Report Posted January 6, 2017 Hi, I am on my H1b and my second h1 (6 years) is ending in 5months. I have my I-140 approved. Now I got another employment opportunity and want to transfer my H1. Can my future company file my H1 extension on same I-140 ? Apart from this, my wife is on OPT right now and I am looking to do her H4 ead, can I file her h4 ead on my current I-140 after changing to my future employer ? Thank You ! Ravi
adshah84 Posted January 9, 2017 Report Posted January 9, 2017 Hi, Your future employer can file your H1 extension using your approved I140 only if this I140 is not revoked after you left. Same goes to H4 EAD.
