A M Posted January 6, 2017 Report Posted January 6, 2017 I am done with one year in University in USA. I have registered for CPT course [Spring 2017] in university. I am planning to travel to India from Mid Jan 17 to 6th Feb 2017. My CPT starts on 6th Feb. Is it safe to travel to India before start of CPT? Any guidance is appreciated.

CPT is only for work as an integral part of the curriculum, e.g., as a required internship for a class. It seems that this is abuse of CPT, which of course would result in trouble. Care to tell us the name of the university?
