vivek123 Posted January 5, 2017 Report Posted January 5, 2017 I used to work for Company A which later did a spinoff to 2 independent companies-Company B & Company C .Now I work for company B. My H1B visa has Company A as petitioner and is valid till 2019.I am planning to visit India this year and I am eligible for stamping through dropbox. Do I need to get a new petition from Company B before going for stamping? If not is there any problem for the mismatch in name of companies in DS-160 form and I-797? In case I get RFE for that mismatch what are the documents I need to submit to prove it?
