Attorney Lost 797 original -H4 stamping URGENT

Hi all

Just found out that the attorney has lost my original, but they have a scanned copy of it.  the duplicate costs around $500, If i need to go for stamping will i need the original?

the primary holder H1/ 797 originals are available. Pls advise.

It was no fault of ours, but how to proceed from here any positive replies will be appreciated.

For H4 stamping you don't need your H4 I797. Only original H1b I797 approval notice is enough.
